You are the only one in the world with your voice! Learning to sing is simply improving your unique gift through building tone and musicianship. I can help you become confident and develop your style so that you will feel comfortable sharing your gift of song with others. I teach the bel canto method which frees the voice and beautifies the sound, allowing proper projection with or without a microphone. Singing for new students can be intimidating, and I like to put students at ease while becoming more comfortable with their developing voice. I have coached and taught high school singers to prepare them for musicals and college auditions. I especially love to prepare choirs and teach adult choristers. While new to Texas, I am not new to singing. My singing career took me from Pittsburgh to Europe in symphonic, operatic and musical theater genres. I’ve been a soloist at major Cathedrals and small Synagogues and I recorded entire works with small groups a capella (no accompaniment). Singing has been a blessing in my life, allowing travel and performance at the highest levels with major symphonies and world-class conductors, in large Cathedrals and small Synagogues, in large and small theaters and ensembles. I would love to help you present your most beautiful singing voice!

Teaching since:

New to Texas, I was a professional singer, choir director and private voice instructor for 20 years in the Pittsburgh, PA area. I rely on classical training which translates to many styles of musical expression: Classical, Church and Spiritual, Broadway, Light Opera, Choral, Jazz, Rhythm & Blues. I have performed in these styles in major concert venues in the United States and Europe with some of the most well known conductors in the world over my career (Andrew Lloyd Weber, Stephen Sondheim, Loren Maazel, Robert Page, Helmut Rilling, to name a few). I love to help singers of all ages sing the music you love better or prepare for auditions! Call me.. I can help you get to the next level in a way that produces healthy, beautiful singing!
