I have been teaching for 5 years as well as have a credential in teaching music in K-12 settings. I love to teach and am willing to work with all ages. I graduated from Sacramento State with a bachelors in Music Education and Music performance in Saxophone. I can teach anywhere from beginners up to advanced classical saxophone, as well as beginner jazz to intermediate jazz saxophone. Lessons can be catered to work around anything the student needs or wants to work on. Additionammy, students can follow a series of lesson plans I have created for all ages.

I’m a fun and energetic teacher who loves a good laugh. I am a professional saxophone player, but can teach a range of woodwinds to advanced levels and brass instruments up to intermediate levels. I harp on the importance of breathing by teaching Breathing Gym techniques to my students for control and relaxation. I learned from the one and only Sam Palafian, the inventor of Breathing Gym while I marched at the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps on the Contra/Tuba line.
