Guitar with Ashton S.

Greetings! My name is Ashton and I have been a Live Performing musician in Los Angeles for over 10 years. Music to me is more than any hobby or career ever could be. I am primarily self taught, with the exception of some recent studying of Indian/Eastern/World Music. I have studied/listened to all types of music from from Blues to Beethoven. I grew up playing Punk music, which was a great way to learn the very basics of Rock. From there I listened to and taught myself whatever I was most interested in at the moment. Over the last 10 years I have gained functionality in multiple styles of guitar and other instruments as well. I currently play in a few projects based in Los Angeles that fuse Funk, Soul, Jazz and Rock with Psychedelic sounds to take listeners on an eclectic journey. After may years of doing what I love most, I have decided to start showing what I have learned to players/students who are interested.
