I was originally trained on Saxophone, Voice and basic piano skills at the Chicago Conservatory of Music. My professional experience has been working as a traveling house band for the Ted Allen Agency in Chicago as well as numerous types of classic rock, fusion rock, jazz, jazz standards and fusion jazz and wedding bands. I'm currently studying at Miracosta Community College to complete my music degree to advance to a 4 year University in Music Education. I have been requested to play baritone sax in the Miracosta Oceanside Jazz Orchestra (MOJO) and also play with the Collective a smaller jazz ensemble taught by Steve Torok. This year I have been teaching before and after school music classes with children from 8 to 13. Our focus has been elementary training incorporating basic music theory, harmony and rhythm as well as instruments such as clarinet and flute as well as sax.+ Read More
I have had students that I worked with at the Columbia College Free Theater with Bill Russo and also taught lessons visiting young players homes as well as them coming to me.

Tony is an excellent teacher. My son has been taking lessons with him for few months now and he loves it. He has learned a lot. Tony is very patient, flexible, has a lot of energy and you can easily tell he enjoys what he does. My son is looking forward every Monday for his Tenor Sax lessons. I highly recommend him+ Read More
Sai like the first class because Tony teached it really well.
Ive had a terrific multi year set of lessons w Tony and he is flexible, patient, experienced and teaches where ‘I’m at’ not where a lesson book would rule or dictate.
Tony often hears things in my tone and technique that he then works into my lessons.
He can prepare a plan or cover what you want: he seems to enjoy the experience of teaching. But if you want to improve, Tony will help you get where you want to go
I am an adult returning saxophonist. Anthony is an excellent teacher, he is always encouraging, has great enthusiasm and always gets the best out of me. He approaches the topics I have difficulty with in several ways to help me to understand them whether it is music theory or technique. I really enjoy my lessons and look forward to them.+ Read More
Anthony was always on time, had great energy and love for music! He worked well with my son who is an 8 year old beginner. I highly recommend him!
My 13 year old son was struggling to learn the basics of the saxophone in his beginning band class at school. Anthony gave terrific one-on-one instruction in a fun and positive style. We are looking forward to many more lessons with him.
My son really had a great first lesson! Mr. Anthony is very friendly and as my son said he was "super nice". Look forward to his next lesson.
I think Anyhony is great. He is s good teacher, makes learning fun. Highly recommend
Tony has been great with my kids, ages 8 and 10, for learning piano. He is very knowledgeable and makes it fun for them :)
Tony is terrific. He's full of enthusiasm for the saxophone and brings a great deal of encouragement and positivity needed when you're starting out. He's also very capable of adjusting his teaching style to reflect the interests and needs of the student. For example, I've got some music reading skill, so Tony adjusted the lessons to reflect that. He and I txt when I have a question during the week. He's always encouraging.+ Read More
Tony is such a patient, fun instructor. I am mainly a pianist and wanted to work on my vocal fundamentals and get my singing to a better level. His expertise has really helped me start achieving my goals. I met him in college last year in Jazz band, and that man can really blow on saxophone as well! Thank you for all your help!+ Read More
