The rich dramatic mezzo-soprano voice of Angeliki has been heard as a soloist throughout Italy, the United States and in major New York City venues, such as Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, CAMI Hall and Off-Broadway. She sang Eboli in Don Carlo with the legendary bass, Jerome Hines. Favorite performed roles include Amneris, Azucena, Santuzza, Frugola, La Principessa, Zita in Il Trittico, Fricka, Dame Quickly, Ulrica, Orlofsky, Laura in La Gioconda, Baba in The Medium, Mother/Witch in Hansel and Gretel, The Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors, and the title role in Carmen. Angeliki has portrayed many of the standard Gilbert and Sullivan contralto roles; she has been a featured soloist in the Requiems of Verdi, Mozart and Durufle, Handel’s Messiah, Saint-Saëns’ Christmas Oratorio, Beethoven’s Ninth and Rossini’s Stabat Mater.
