Empire State Youth Orchestra CHIME program

Working for the non profit company ESYO's CHIME program has brought many rewarding interactions with budding young musicians in the Schenectady, New York area. Working with the students five days a week, we teachers bring after school music to these young people and strive to educate and inspire them in their daily lives. At CHIME I work with a range of young people from the elementary to high school age, where I teach them different musical skills starting at the most basic: preparatory music lessons, hand drums and recorders, as well as beginning and advanced woodwind students. This job requires versatility from its teachers and an excitement to educate.

Working as a freelance musician I perform classical and studio flute for gigs in the Greater Capital Region of New York. I teach through the Guilderland Music Academy and virtually through platforms such as Take Lessons.

Berklee College of Music

Flutist and piccoloist for the Film Scoring department at the Berklee College of Music. I gained invaluable experience collaborating with my colleagues to perform and record their compositions using state of the art equipment.

NYSSSA School of Orchestral Studies

For NYSSSA School of Orchestral Studies I was a chamber music coach and residence life counselor where I worked with outstanding high school musicians. Taking place at the Skidmore College campus for a one month period, these students maintained a rigorous daily schedule full of music, practicing and social excursions.
