I am a professional Dancer and Dance Teacher. I started teaching and assisting at my home Dance Studio in Virginia, and just never stopped. I’ve truly enjoyed teaching as a means to Supplement my Career, and as a Student of Life I’ve enjoyed continuing to grow and learn with my Students. It brings me much joy to share my love of dance and movement, I’m grateful to connect with others through this art form. I love teaching Ballet to any level of Explorer. I can also help properly train those ambitious and training seriously. I am quite equipped to teach Jazz, Contemporary, and Modern. I’ve loved learning as much as I can about every diaspora or Dance and Movement Language. Teaching Bio • Started teaching Recreational Classes around the Tristate • Competition Director for Studio in New Jersey • Ballet Director for Competitive Studio in New Jersey • Director of Jazz Program at Conservatory in Connecticut • Award Winning Choreography • Students With Scholarships to the JKO school, Scholarships for Dance and Dance Teams in Universities, Students Win Convention Scholarships and Overall Titles • Civic Performances • Nutcracker Choreography Professional Bio • Started Dancing in Alexandria, VA. • Ballet Boarding School at The Kirov Academy of Ballet, in Washington, D.C. • BFA in Dance Performance with Honors and Excellence Awards from The University of Arts. • American Ballet Theatre’s National Teacher Training Curriculum Pre-Ballet - Level III. • Allison is starting her 7th Season performing with The Metropolitan Opera at Lincoln Center, NYC - In Productions: Prince Igor, Don Giovanni, Die Meistersinger, Aida, Turandot, Lucia di Lammermoor, Cendrillon, Manon, Queen of Spades • Performed the works of Twyla Tharp, Paul Selwyn-Norton, Christopher Huggins, Koresh Dance Company, River North Dance Co, BalletX • Traveled Internationally - with Wayne St David to Santiago, Chile - with Earl Mosley’s Life Dance to Cali, Colombia - with Itzik Galili @ DansGroep Amsterdam - with Zoe|Juniper to Vancouver, B.C. • She has performed nationally with Companies: Loni Landon Dance Projects, Zoe|Juniper, Dance Iquail, Bennyroyce Dance, Alexis Convento & Artists and Life Dance with Earl Mosley. She has also performed at Summer Stage NYC for Earl Mosley and Dance Iquail!; Debbie Allen’s productions at The Kennedy Center, and MOMIX Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
