    About Alex K.

Hi, there! My name is Alex and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2015 and have loved helping my student learn how to improvise and have fun playing the saxophone in a more creative and self expressed way. I went to the University of Northern Iowa and earned a degree in Music with an emphasis in jazz studies in 2014. I'm a pretty easy going and fun person however I don't let my niceness get in the way of accomplishing our set goals and getting better at the horn. My teaching style is very dynamic in that it is tailored to whatever it is YOU are passionate about with music and finding a way to make great music. Not only could we learn how to play the sax, but I also have experience in writing music, recording, networking, creating and developing a band, and developing your own unique style of music. I look forward to helping you reach your goals and helping you share your gift of music to the world.
