I've always had a love for music. I've been teaching music in the classroom and privately for 10 years. I have a Master's Degree in Music Education and am a Level 2 James Hill Ukulele Initiative certified teacher. I'm a father 4, and have been married for 12 years. I teach guitar, piano, bass, and singing, but my real passion is the ukulele. I believe it's the best instrument for beginners and can really stand well on it's own, unlike the traditional thought of ukulele being a toy. When I teach, I put the student first and always make the students goals my own. I push for more, but always gently encourage to build off of successes to achieve mastery. Learning an instrument can be a difficult task, and it takes time and dedication. It's also tremendously rewarding, and the most important thing that I want my students to gain is a fun experience improving and creating music.
