Experienced Photoshop teacher of 6 years available for eager students of all experience, levels and ages! I adjust and build my lesson structure so students learn what they are interested in and want to learn, while building strong foundations of basic image manipulation/adjustment skills. I specialize in fashion, print design and magazine photo/illustration artistry, typically use real life applications as examples, and have Adobe Creative suite on my laptop available to use during lessons.

Are you new to Photoshop and need some help getting started? No Problem. It is a wonderful program that is very intuitive once you know where things are. I know how intimidating it can be at first to learn a new program because I continue to learn new ones myself. i am very patient and happy to help.

Basic functions for Photoshop include cropping rotating moving images around and then taking photos and manipulating them suddenly so that they don’t look manipulated. In addition, you can learn the best practices for preparing photos for the Internet or for print. I adjust my approach to teaching as I get to know you as a student and what learning style works best with you.

I have been working with Photoshop for over 5 years. Getting started with this program is as easy as understanding layers. Once you understand the basics of Photoshop, we can move on to more functions and tools inside the program. You will learn about file sizes, image types, color correcting, and editing "tricks". Some of my students personal favorite lessons include "basic compositing", "creating reflections" and "changing the background". Once you have a solid understanding of the basic tools, you can start to explore; and let your creativity take you wherever you want. My lessons are paced based on your learning style and speed, and are geared towards a stress-free experience. I will show you the ins and outs of creating digital art with this exciting program. The possibilities are endless!

Please note, I am not a graphic designer. I teach Photoshop for primarily image editing purposes. Logos and graphic illustrations is not my forté.

I have been using Photoshop for 5 years and have experience with photo editing, drawing, and photomanipulation. I have an extensive knowledge of the software and can teach the ins and outs of how to create and edit images in Photoshop, as well as how to work with video and 3D models.

Students can expect to walk through the steps of learning Adobe Photoshop from basic to advanced levels. I will go over basic techniques such as selections and tool uses to heavy duty composite work to create a work of art from 1 or more images.
