Deanne has been so wonderful with this shift to online teaching. Deanne is talented, patient, intelligent, and really makes any student improve tremendously. Any student is lucky to learn from Deanne.
Franc N.
I agree with everything the other reviewer and student said. Deanne is very knowledgeable, positive and enthusiastic. And she makes voice lessons really enjoyable. I was on the fence with taking voice lessons and I am extremely glad I went with it, and Deanne is a big part of this reason.

For those who want to groove.

Time, tone, voice-leading,and melody!
These are the four components to great bass playing.
I like to focus on learning how to be a great bass player by working through technique and learning great bass parts from recordings.
As students progress we can work on how to write your own bass lessons, and get into more advanced but crucial subjects, such as voice leading.

I am so thankful to have found Marcus as my bass instructor; he is the exact type of teacher I was looking for. His training and love for music were evident upon first meeting him. I have learned so much in the short time I have been taking lessons. He is a very patient and passionate teacher.

All around wonderful teacher

Marcus is quite the gifted teacher. By far the best I've had the pleasure to aspire under. He is very easy to understand, and doesn't overwhelm you, taking time on the little things (the most important). He creates an atmosphere that is encouraging to learn in. We all know those teachers that create a stressful environment that inhibits progressive learning, as well as frustration in yourself. Marcus is certainly the opposite. He is also quite easy to communicate with--Creating lesson plans, setting goals, etc... In summation, a professional and a friend I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

"Marie-France is a fantastic teacher. I am a singer - songwriter performing out, and I want to strengthen my vocal ability and have more control of my vocal performance.
She is, first of all, a great singer, pianist, songwriter, performer and producer with so much experiences, and she understands very well what I have to accomplish as a performer. I am very lucky to have her as my teacher because she really understands what I need to improve, and she knows how to guide me to get to the goals. With her advise and teaching, I was very comfortable recording my CD in a studio. With her guidance, I am more confident with my vocal performances.
Thank you so very much Marie - France for being my voice teacher."
