Layers - shows you how to combine multiple images, resize them, split them apart, and add in color boxes. Selections - starts by showing how to remove simple images from a photograph and finishes by showing how to select out strands of hair and change the background. I am a highly organized, outcome-driven and motivated professional musician and educator with solid experience in the classroom. For the past 25 years, I have been employed with Amati music academy and seven years on the faculty of University of St Francis. I am very comfortable with all aspects of the current music syllabus, including teaching musical concepts (such as duration, pitch, dynamics, tone color, texture and structure) as well as performance, composition. I am fully qualified, with a Bachelor of Education in Music, Double Masters in music performance and education from University of Nottingham. I am proficient in classical, jazz and Celtic fiddle violin and possess solid skills in piano (grade 8-13) Royal conservatory system. Throughout my teaching career, I have been driven to help students achieve their very best. I str
ongly believe that music has the power to change lives – to enhance the social, cultural and spiritual lives of people, and serve as a profound medium of personal expression. Professional perform experience: The Chicago, Natalie Cole, Smokey Robinson, Three tours with Moody Blues, YoYo Ma etc.... The most important thing I look for in a student is communication skills, as well as talent. I like to nurture students and help identify their individual strengths, which is a key factor in shaping a musical persona that will make its mark both on and offstage. I do not advocate a uniform technique for all students. Physical differences and learning styles are always taken into consideration. Potential is as important to me as early achievements and experience. My goal is to help students become self-sufficient, discriminating artists. I discuss practice techniques often and develop individualized scale routines. I encourage initiative and expressive musicality as well as precision. Above all, music needs to bring obvious joy to the student, regardless of the difficulties.”

I have been using Adobe Photoshop both academically and professionally for about 7 years now. I use it primarily to edit and create architectural renderings, edit photos that I have taken, as well as any graphics that I have created. I currently use CS5.5 at home and CS6 at work. I have reference images available. I believe the entire Adobe Suite works best when intertwined with both Illustrator and InDesign as the programs are very similar to one another.

Photoshop is a super powerful tool. I've been using photoshop in a real world environment for about 20 years! I love people! I enjoy teaching and training, listening and learning, meeting new people and discovering new things. As a Creative Director south of Nashville, I make time to work with children and adults, teaching drawing, photography, Adobe Creative Suite and other creative computer skills. I also coach soccer in Nolensville, TN. My own art reflects a passion for people, as I am primarily a portrait artist in photography as well as with pencil, pen and ink, and watercolor. I started with teaching art classes in High school, then as part of wilderness trips in the white mountains, teaching creative survival skills. I work often with youth athletics and skills training, with the children in my church, and all ages as a mentor, tutor, and coach outside of regular business hours... Lately I have been helping photographers and models build
their brand identity with pictures. - - What are your creative needs?

Daniel is great, he is extremely knowledgeable. He explains things in detail so that you have a thorough understanding of how Indesign works and interfaces with other programs. He is happy to answer any and all questions and moves at a good pace.
Teaching art has always been my passion and my students respond well to me and my teaching style. Many of my students have gone from not even knowing that they had any real artistic ability to going on to pursue college level art or pursueing artistic careers. I have students from years ago that will still contact me for art related questions and some who have become close friends. I believe that my nearly 2 1/2 decades of teaching art in a public school has made me capable of the patience and caring needed to teach any and all learning styles. We can start at whatever skill level you are currently at.
I had his art class when I first moved to Vincent. Such an amazing teacher! Knows so much about Art and watching him draw you can see it’s his passion!

I am a communications designer, I graduated with a bachelors from Pratt Institute 2019. I went to the HighSchool of Fashion Industries 2010 - 2014 with a design garment shown on WWD Magazine my senior year. I have always been interested in different art forms, like drawing, painting, sewing, music, movies and videos, designing logos and posters, clothing. I especially love the process of designing because of where you start and where you end. The future can be quite exciting. Learning shouldn’t be a chore, it should be fun and exciting in creative ways.

"Nicole professionally layed out, designed, and printed the obituary of my husband using Adobe Photoshop. Her helpful, yet sensitive suggestions regarding
picture arrangements on the pages of the obituary were appreciated. She was timely and easy to work with. I highly recommend her as an instructor."
"Very knowledgeable and clear in her teaching. Made everything seem easy."
"Sylvia, is great at articulating the knowledgeable she has of the program Photoshop which allowed me to learn in one lesson the basics with ease. Highly
"I used Aperture for years to adjust my photos, but when Apple stopped supporting it, I subscribed to Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC. LR is comparable to Ap
erture, but neither does a good job of fixing a blown out sky; PS offers several methods of dealing with this problem, none of them particularly simple. PS is a complex, daunting professional tool and I was stymied and discouraged. Nick taught me how to use PS to solve my problem and gave me confidence that I could, with study and practice, learn how to use PS to solve other problems. The important thing is that Nick listened to me as to my goal and directed his teaching to that goal. He showed enormous patience as I interrupted him with questions every 20 seconds. To sum up: it's unrealistic to try to learn PS in three hours. I needed specific knowledge to get over a difficult hurdle, and Nick taught me what I needed to use PS to solve my problem. I believe that I can now go forward to do a much better job adjusting and developing my photos, and that I have a better grasp on how to learn more about PS. Thank you, Nick."
"Etana... great teacher. I wish I was at her level right now. Looking forward to getting there."
"Steve did a great job, was thorough and patient. He knows the program well and is equally adept at explaining the concepts behind what he's doing. That'
s a difficult thing for a teacher and Steve did an excellent job of it. Highly recommend!"
"Very knowledgeable, able to explain and teach the subject very well."
"Knowledgable, courteous and most of all patient. Good experiencr"
