He is patient with you and very positive and reinforcing. The passion he has for music is obvious from the first time you meet him. Really enjoying myself

Chris makes learning really fun. I look forward to my lessons and just told him the other day that I wish my lesson was for 3 hours. I go to Chris for 1.5hr every other week and that gives me to time to practice for 2 weeks. We cover a lot of ground. Chris gives me structure to follow and that helps me. I've only had a few lessons with Chris but I can tell that I am going to make that big leap this year from "practicing" music to "playing" music.

Excellent Teacher

Chris is extremely talented and very knowledgable of the technical aspects of the voice. He doesn't have a rigid cookie-cutter lesson plan that he just pulls out for everyone regardless of his/her level. He has a great ear for whatever problems you may have, and as a result he's able to cater his lesson plan to your needs. He has a wide array of vocal exercises for exactly this purpose. He knows a lot about a variety of genres, so he's able to help you build your voice while still maintaining the style that you prefer. He records every lesson on a cd/usb drive (whichever you prefer), so it's very convenient and easy to practice throughout the week without missing any of the feedback that he gives. It's also great to hear yourself gradually improve throughout your time with him.
I've been able to expand my vocal range by over an octave during my time with Chris and now I feel much more confident in my vocal ability. Chris is a great teacher and I definitely recommend that you give him a shot!

Great first lesson!!

My daughter takes guitar from Maria and I didn’t realize how much she’s progressed until we went to a friend’s recital. 8 months with Maria and my child is leaps and bounds ahead of kids who’ve been taking for 2-3 years. It’s really motivating for her to see. Maria has standards which are non-negotiable but she’s patient and truly guides the kids to success. I’m so happy with our choice as her as a teacher.

Maria has been wonderful with our son. Very motivating and goal based. The recitals blow me away year after year. The progress these kids make with her plus the longevity of her students says a lot.

"We love this teacher! My daughter has only been taking lessons for about two months and only once a week. I had my reservations about how well online music lessons were going to work. Not anymore! She has progressed so much in that short time. Practicing is no longer a chore for her. I have to ask her to stop and let the baby nap! She has found joy in music and is learning so much. He took his time to assess my skill, and created lessons that challenge me. He's introduced me to several genres already that I wouldn't have normally looked at before. He also does a fantastic job of teaching me the theory behind what I'm playing. Couldn't be more pleased with the experience, and look forward to taking many more lessons with Brandon."

He was patient and attentive as I asked him many weird noob questions worthy of a few eye rolls. He understood my struggles, and sent me away with lots of homework to help me progress with my playing and technique. There’s never a short supply of wisdom and knowledge coming from this guy.
