Singing is fun, isn't it?
It can be even more fun when we feel in control of our voice. Then we can sing louder or softer, higher or lower, long notes or fast short notes. We can relax, be confident and sing with feeling. I can help you to achieve all of those things!
We can work on any kind of music that interests you, whether that is Broadway, Pop, Jazz, Rock, Alternative, Movie music, Classical or whatever. It's always your choice.
Your lessons will be geared toward helping you to achieve your goals. If your goals change, the focus of your lesson will change.
We'll take this at your pace. I'll never overwhelm you but, I'll keep you challenged. It'll be fun!
I've been at this for awhile, 25 years. What can you expect to achieve from these lessons? Growth. In understanding and knowledge of your chosen field. Confidence. In your abilities and your performance of them. A feeling of calm and relaxation. When you need to use your talents.
All of these things, no ...

I have played the ukulele for several years, and it is still one of my favorite instruments to listen to. It's a wonderful tool for learning basic music concepts and is pretty easy to pick up. I love teaching pop music adaptation and intricate picking techniques on this instrument.

Karl Williams
CANNY LARK MUSIC
GREENE STREET RECORDS
“First-rate compositions,” wrote Ken Tucker ("Entertainment Weekly" and radio’s "Fresh Air") of Williams’ songs. Both "Publishers Weekly" and "School Library Journal" highly recommend Williams’ two CDs for children. "One out of thousands!” wrote a reviewer for Europe’s "Radio Marabu" of Williams’s pop/folk-rock CD, “...true, honest music…a priceless treasure for a lifetime.”"

I am writing to recommend the talent and abilities of Kit R., music instructor. Kit was able to provide a basic, age appropriate, introduction to music curriculum for my 4 year old and beginner piano curriculum for my 8 year old. Because of Kitâs energy and ability to connect with children, she has ignited a passion for music my children may not otherwise have. I would highly suggest Kit for children of any age, regardless of the childâs knowledge or experience with music.
