Garrett is a DJ, producer, drummer, educator, and business owner based in Los Angeles, and San Diego, CA. In addition to working with jazz ensembles and symphonies, he performs regularly with local pop/rock bands, and works as a freelance DJ under the moniker “Seth Vitál”. Garrett has a B.A. in Music from the University of California, San Diego, where he studied under two-time Grammy award-winning producer/arranger Kamau Kenyatta, and was awarded the university's 2017 Jazz Society Award. His performances have allowed him to open for acts such as Khalid, DJ Mustard, Schoolboy Q and Bad Suns.
