Dor is an excellent drum instructor. He taught our 9-year old in home for 6 months and was terrific. Our son really advanced his speed techniques under Dor's instruction. We only stopped due to our son's broken arm and we look forward to resuming lessons with Dor as soon as possible. He's great with kids, punctual, reliable and a pleasant guy.

I've been working with Nate for almost a year now in the band Mile Twelve, and my experience with him has been incredible. Not only is he a amazingly well-learned, proficient, and creative musician, but he's one of the most understanding and helpful guys that I know. I've learned so much from playing with Nate, and I know his students are in good hands.

Working with Nate is great! By working step by step through a couple songs I brought with me, and I noticed an across-the-board improvement in my playing after the first lesson. Plus, we have a good time of it!

Nate has a very good ear, and is quickly able to identify problems, and thoroughly explain how to fix them. Whether a technique thing, or subtle nuances in timing, or tone, Nate always finds the clear path to expressing the goal, and how to get there.
I'd recommend Nate to anyone seeking to improve their playing. The rest is practice, practice, practice.

Alex is great. He is very patient and supportive. He does a great job of explaining things without overwhelming me with too much information to process. He keeps me interested by changing things up and challenging me every lesson. I'm an adult beginner, and Alex strikes a great balance between teaching me music that I want to learn and things that will help me become a better player. I highly recommend Alex as a teacher.

I've had 5 lessons with Alex and have already seen incredible improvement. Alex's methodology is to teach lessons but taking a song you really would like to learn, and walking you through the steps necessary to be playing it seamlessly and quickly. He throws in musical theory and other important elements of learning the instrument in there as well. I love that he always emails me a rundown of our lesson via email after the lesson so I can be reminded of things when practicing. He is extremely accommodating with his schedule, which I also really appreciate. Overall, it's been an incredibly enjoyable experience and I recommend Alex to anyone trying to learn!

I had a great experience with Alex. He is very flexible and catered each lesson to my learning style and goals. You can learn music theory, technique, and how to have fun playing music with your instrument. I kept finding that one hour flew by with the amount of music that was being played. I highly recommend to anyone on both sides of the spectrum; someone who knows exactly what they want to achieve and someone who doesn't know where to begin.

My name is Gena Su. I am a music educator who graduated from Boston University school of music. In these two years, I built my own teaching methods for the age of elementary and secondary, also learned the strong foundation of music theory/history.

I majored in music education/ flute performance in my undergraduate. I taught flute classes during my undergraduate study. Most of my 15 flute students continually engaged in all kinds of music making. Parents and students both love the way of learning the flute.

My teaching philosophy is a student-centered teaching model. In my class, I, as a facilitator, but authority, hope to build a bridge that is connecting both teacher's music world and students' music world! Now, Let's have fun!

We will learn basic breath technique, fingering, and easy songs through playing the music games, d
rawing, and singing. Students will learn fast and be happy at the same time!

About Aubrey
I am a professional singer, pianist, and violinist, and also a public school teacher. I specialize in classical music, and have worked with many choirs and instrumental ensembles over the course of my career. I earned my bachelor's degree in Music Education (Voice) and completed my piano studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music. As much as I am a teacher, I continue to further my own learning. Currently, I am completing my Master degree in Music Education at the Boston Conservatory.

I began my music studies at the age of 7, and a lot of my current teaching philosophy has been greatly influenced by my own educational experiences as a child. I believe that students are never too young for a technical and accurate approach. At the same time, music lessons don't have to be scary or daunting. I find that many teachers tend to underestimat
e their students, so I make a great effort to encourage my students to go further than even they think they can.

My piano, violin, and voice students have been of diverse ages and experience levels. Depending on the goals of the student, we can work out a personalized curriculum that is beneficial and efficient. Students can expect to improve in music literacy, sight-reading, ear training, knowledge of different musical styles, chord building and reading, and idiomatic musicianship.

Feel free to send me a message! I would love to talk about your musical journey and how I can help you progress.
