I emphasize developing a strong foundation in technique and ear training that will carry over to any musical genre, from world-renowned classical repertoire, to classic rock, jazz, and folk, to children's songs or your favorite radio hits from today.
I am dedicated to unlocking every student's musical potential, at any age or experience level, whether the student is just beginning to explore the keyboard or is preparing for an important audition. But more than experience and insight, I teach students to use music as a vehicle for creativity and expression, and develop a sense of true musicianship that goes beyond playing all the correct notes and the right time.

Good habits and an excellent attitude make great cellists. It doesn't hurt to love music too. I love music and I love to share my passion with my students.
Having a teacher who is an experienced performer is an important quality in a teacher. I am a professional classical musician currently working as a freelance cellist in the Chicago area. I play with Chicago Philharmonic, the Northbrook Symphony, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and the Northwest Indiana Symphony, among others. Before coming to Chicago I played for 13 seasons with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra.
I have taught privately for over 10 years including 2 years in Paris. My teaching is a reflection of my teacher, Phillippe Muller. I studied with Msr. Muller while studying at the Paris Conservatory. Msr. Muller is currently a Professor of Cello at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City.
Even though I have been teaching and performing on the cello for most of my life, it's not all there is to who I am. I am a chef (almost--12 weeks to go), a mom, a wife. I have a cute little Tibetan Terrier that loves visitors. My husband and I love hiking in beautiful places. Studying with m

In addition to piano, I have deep compositional knowledge, for I also am a Media Composer. So music production and mixing is also part of the menu. There are no style that I am shy of, and I build learning paths depending on what students want to accomplish.
My main goal in teaching music is to help people create a space of their own, where they can be creative and free. I like to see students have something they show for in their learning process, so I'm very keen in students being able to perform, talk about theory, make a track, write a song. My onl

I've been playing the fiddle for 26 years and have been teaching for 10 years. I welcome students of all ages and have taught people between the ages of 5 and 60. I started out learning with a fiddle teacher playing by ear and then later switched to a classical teacher so I have a broad range of music that I love. But my favorite style to play is fiddle music.
I have been playing the fiddle since I was 7 years old and I took lessons for 13 years. I started out taking lessons from a fiddle teacher who taught me entirely by ear. Later on, I also took classical violin lessons and I teach both styles, however I will just be focusing on fiddle music with my o
