I'm a violinist with 10 years of teaching experience. I am working with students of all ages/ levels. I believe that teacher should help a student to reveal and develop his/her personality through the music, so the lessons are adjusted for each student's needs individually. At the same time, the basis is a professional approach with detailed instructions.

About Tatiana

I am a professional violinist, regularly performing with several orchestras across Michigan. I studied at St. Petersburg Conservatory and also have a Doctorate degree in violin performance from Michigan State University. Tatiana is an excellent instructor and I am a 68 yr old violin hobbyist who is trying to learn classical music and folk music to eventually become a part time teacher myself. She is very patient and pleasant and I am a former teacher myself in grades 5 - 9. I believe she would be good for any age(s) ! She is great with technique and knowing what the student wants to accomplish and is interested in with their musical interests She is just a very pleasant person to know and get guidance musically from! I recommend her highly!

Intonation is a subject near and dear to the hearts of both singers and violinists. Alethia has a solid ear and pays acute attention to tuning. A skill that EVERY musician needs continually work with. She is patient and a diligent musician.
