Having played the piano for 22 years, I am able to teach you how to read sheet music, how to train your ear to play without written notes, and everything in between. Can cater to all ages and will adjust teachings towards each individual’s goals and interests. Classical Debussy? Post Malone? I’ve got you covered!

About Becca

Hi my name is Becca! Playing the piano has been a huge part of my life since before I can even remember! I began taking piano lessons at age four and have been playing ever since. I am a classically trained mezzo-soprano with experience acting/singing/directing opera, choir, and musical theatre. I taught middle school choir and have many years of experience teaching children’s summer camps, as well as visiting high schools and middle school to give private coachings for solo and ensemble. I believe that in order for a student to have a well-rounded musical education, they should have repertoire in various styles and languages, as well as music theory.

About Sadi

I have a Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Performance. I am a classically trained mezzo-soprano with years of experience in art songs, opera, musical theatre, and jazz. I taught middle school, lead sectionals at local high schools, accompany middle school choirs and bands, and give coachings for many

Taylor is extremely easy to work with and very talented in her ability to advise and challenge you to grow. She's willing to work with you to define goals and help you get there through actionable practice and advising she's learned throughout her career. An important aspect is capturing the reason you need music in the first place and she goes beyond just being a voice teacher and into being a coach/partner to help you achieve your unique goals with music. I've become more confident with my singing which she is able to help me understand requires different skills than just direct vocal practice. I'm excited to continue to learn from her!

Our son thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and he made a point to ask questions when he wasn't clear on instruction. I could tell this music composition was very complex (for his age) and Doug patiently worked through the questions and made really helpful recommendations.

"Poh Hock is a well-rounded and versatile teacher. He is capable in many styles of playing and has a powerful understanding of music theory to reinforce his teaching. He is very patient and relaxed; I never feel stressed preparing for or during lessons. He is able to tailor his lessons more around exercises or learning songs depending on the wants and needs of the students. I've been taking music lessons in different instruments for 10+ years; learning with Poh Hock has singularly been the most positive and productive experience in that time."

"I hired Danny to help me in the studio. I was recording about 3 songs I needed help with. On these original songs, I had been working on with another coach unnamed that had me do scales and but after hours of recording, the coach didn't know what else to say except breathe deep. With Danny in about 15-20 min, we were able to knock out my songs easily. Danny isn't your average instructor. He actually goes beyond scales. Some of my issues in were singing close to my break and certain phrases were hard to work with. Others were as basic as the way I was standing. I am impressed."
