Guitar is the first instrument I learned to play starting from when I was 12 years old. I have taught many students how to play guitar from the ground up!
My teaching method starts with what you want to learn to play. That's what it is all about, right? Learning the songs you want to play becomes a vehicle for knowing more about guitar.
For beginning guitar, it is best if we can meet in person so I can see your hand position and posture in detail.

I approach my teaching by finding every singer's true and honest voice, and then exploring ways to make that voice as free and beautiful as possible. In the course of our lessons I will utilize techniques to explore breath control, resonance, range and freedom of not only the voice, but the body's ability to express while performing.
Every person that is capable of speech is capable of singing beautifully, and I fully embrace that mantra as a teacher. With that approach, I teach a wide variety of styles, ranging from Music Theater to classically informed Operatic Singing. Let's make some music!

I've been teaching piano for 8 years and my students have gone on to enjoy performing and playing the piano in multiple facets. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to play some of your favorite songs and as time goes on you'll be able to perform for your family and friends. I specialize in classical, pop & rock, typically use Bastien books. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

Getting the right instrument is one of the most important decisions in a musician's life. The right violin will feel comfortable in your hands, respond accurately and consistently to your touch, and help you produce the best possible sound for your level of musical development. Students learning the violin can rent or purchase instruments from music instrument retailers, and they offer a variety of instruments that can seem daunting for the novice violin purchaser. When will you know that it' …
