I teach the basic piano repertoire however I also like to keep it interesting for the students. I teach scales, patterns, ect...but I also ask what their favorite songs are. I think its important to learn what you love as well as the required pieces. I also try games with kids and make it fun that way as well. I teach classical and popular songs only no jazz on piano.

Omer has been an excellent teacher! I’ve over heard several lessons with him and my son and I’m always impressed by the breath of knowledge he has. In just a few weeks my son has been inspired to play the piano for hours at a time. Originally Omer was going to teach my son violin but they switched to piano so that they could explore their common interest in composing music for film. I am immensely pleased with him and recommend him wholeheartedly!

First lesson ended with such a good feeling of well being. I believe I am in the right hands. Omer is patient; and he listens as well as talks.

I have been playing in a string quartet with Omer for two years and I can easily say he's one of the most talented musicians I've ever worked with. He's also a kind, intelligent, and reliable person. Judging from the skills he displays in quartet work I have no hesitation in saying that he is a wonderful teacher.

Students begin with the Rubank method. A strong emphasis is placed on the fundamentals of scales, ear training, sight reading, and music theory. Along with this we have fun playing the music student enjoys.

I'm a 52 year-old with no music background and today was my first virtual alto sax lesson with Randall. I must admit that I was very intimidated at first and didn't think that I would be able to get the most out of this virtual learning experience. However, Randall made me very comfortable and quickly got me relaxed as if he were right there with me in my living room. We began by him showing me the do's and don'ts of putting my horn together (especially the mouthpiece), fingering, and creating the sound I wanted. I was impressed because he taught me about 5 to 6 notes in this initial session. To be honest I didn't even think that I would've been able to get a note out but I did. Although I didn't want my first saxophone lesson to be virtual, I can confidently say that I will continue my sessions with Randall and highly recommend his services.
Henry
Very knowledgeable and passionate about teaching. Provided tips and tricks that I've not seen nor heard elsewhere. These tips immediately improved my tone production. Only downside was our video kept blurring whereas it was extremely difficult to see some fingering and such that he was demonstrating. Problem my have been on my end but don't know. Looking forward to our next lesson.

"I'm an adult with some music background. Jordan has been great, encouraging me in my progress and helping pay attention to the details of music. He's also guiding me in teaching my kids who are 5 and 7. They have some special needs. We tried having my boys take lessons from Jordan initially, they just weren't ready for formal instruction. Too many typical crazy kid behavior. So I am doing what I can at home and Jordan has given me great input to get them ready to eventually take lessons. I'm so impressed with Jordan. He has a great, positive, fun personality and he really knows is music!!"

"Initially I was skeptical to have a singing lesson over Skype. However, the lesson that I had with Asuka exceed my expectations. I'm recently retired and have always wanted to be able to sing well. Asuka is bringing me closer to my goal of being a very good singer. I can actually now support my pitch with proper breathing and support. I also love the fact that I can do this from Skype. She is completely setup and uses a piano or synthesizer for a very effective lesson."

Can You Really Teach Yourself How to Play Ukulele?

If you want to learn how to play ukulele, you’re in excellent company. Today’s popular music scene is rife with ukulele players, including Taylor Swift, Eddie Vedder, and Zooey Deschanel, just to name a few.
