I recently received my PhD from Syracuse University and have been teaching at the college and graduate level for several years. While I teach about all things archaeology, my main focus is in Caribbean Archaeology. Classes I have taught range from field methodology and excavations, artifact analysis, military practices and presence at forts in the Caribbean, anthropology and history (to name a few). I'm passionate about sharing information and bringing different perspectives from the past into focus which have often been overlooked in traditional ways of teaching. I also have a number of international publications and have led a number of field schools in the Caribbean, most recently to study spatial practices at a former military fort in Kingston, Jamaica.
