Began my non-fiction writing career with Associated Content (now Yahoo! Contributor Network in June 2005 and just a year a half a later I was chosen from over 40,000 eligible writers to be named this web site's very first Content Producer of the Year. Before site was closed down by Yahoo! in 2014, I had published over 7,000 articles which collectively received more than 16 million page views. An article I wrote on the 3-D re-release of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace enjoyed over 1 million page views in less than a week and briefly became a viral with more than 20,000 comments by visitors. Many of my articles have been reviewed by prestigious publications including The Washington Post, The Winnipeg Free Press, and The Village Voice. An analysis of the failure of America to embrace soccer netted me a guest appearance on a nationally syndicated radio talk show, and an article written about Vice Pres. Dick Cheney's attempt to dismantle the National Archives was chosen to be included in the course packet for a law course to be taught by the Dean of Law at Vanderbilt University. Articles published on Associated Content/Yahoo! Contributor Network have also been referenced in hardcover books like "The Reckless Life...of Marlon Brando," "Scarface Nation," "MGM Greatest Backlot," and "International Marketing: Brandishing the First Amendment." In addition to the law school course packet at Vanderbilt, the Univ of Pennsylvania as well as a myriad of other colleges and high schools included an article I wrote about "Casablanca" as part of their study guide. Other articles found their way into the curricula at institutes of higher learning ranging from Mazenod College to City College of New York to the Lower Danube University of Galati, Romania.

Washington High School

Taught 10th and 11th grade English classes. Lessons include literature, grammar and FCAT prep. Also worked after hours tutoring students for the English section of the FCAT test. Was twice named to Who's Who Among America's Teachers.
