• Founded this independent children’s theatre company in 2010 to develop, plan, and implement theatre education programs that incorporate dance, music, and acting. • Responsible for developing and implementing the theatre education curriculum. • In Summer 2010, held a successful first summer theatre camp through Harford County Parks and Recreation. Operated under a $10,000 budget generated by a total enrollment of 38 elementary and middle school students. In 2011, achieved a 30% increase in enrollment and $3,000 cash flow increase in this program. • Recruit and manage creative staff, including a music director, choreographer, and assistant instructors. • Direct and produce various theatre productions throughout the year, including two summer musical productions, while training young performers in the craft of acting.

Director of Middle School Drama September 2009 – June 2011 • Coordinate, produce, and facilitate all aspects of Patterson Mill Middle School drama productions, including plays and musicals. • Facilitate the creative and professional involvement of parent and student volunteers in lighting design, costume design, set design, program design, choreography, advertisement sales, ticket sales, food sales, and memorabilia sales. • Maintain appropriate planning of the production through purchasing, budget analysis, and fund-raisers. • Facilitate the creative process of all students through character analysis, scene analysis, and voice and actor training. High School English Teacher October 2011 – June 2012 • Provide a continuation of educational services received in the high school English classroom to at-risk students who have may have experienced a crisis in their lives, may have dropped out of school, or may have not been successful in a traditional school environment. • Create an educational environment that respects the needs of the individual student while providing a level of academic rigor that will appropriately prepare the student for entry into the traditional school environment. • Personally accept, respect, encourage, support, and engage each student in order to build a positive relationship that will allow him or her to build upon academic achievement and learn from his or her personal and/or academic mistakes.
