    Hello! My name is Tierra or Ms.T! I have been teaching in special education for 2 years and love it! While teaching in special education, I have learned that a lot of students have trouble learning either because of anxiety, not being taught the way the student learns best, or classes just moving at a faster pace then the student is comfortable with. With this knowledge, I hope to help students learn more about topics that they are not quite grasping at the pace and structure the student needs to succeed! I have very flexible hours and would love to learn how you love to learn! Lets get to know each other!

    Miss.T brings a subject that is hard for so many a new light to learning. She is so patient and knowledgeable and understanding to peoples needs. She is an excellent tutor. I have children with special needs that struggle with math and ms.T has help them so much and I so appreciate her.

    I have always struggled with math concepts until I found Tierra. She broke down each lesson step by step and was so patient with me.     During my 8 hour work day, I teach and guide multiple students through different curriculum, following each students Specific Individualized Education Program while also attending to mild-to-severe medical conditions. These are subject, but not limited to all seizure types, incontinence, gastronomy tube feeding/hydration, and physical therapy. In which I am professionally trained and certified in all. Through knowing all different medical and neurological conditions, I am able to ensure all students can have a meaningful and safe day of learning beside their peers. Maintaining proper attendance and a positive attitude allows the students to feel comfortable and excited to complete their daily tasks.
