ACT English with Taylor F.

I am a professional actor in California with a degree in Theatre from California State University, Sacramento. I have been a working actor for the last several years. Some of my credits include Theatre For Children Inc.'s school tour. I spent a year on the road, performing 12 shows a week at various schools around California. I have been a working actor at B St Theatre in Sacramento, CA and have been in several shows there. I have also been a teacher, both general education and theatre, since 2016. I have taught conservatory classes at B St Theater for teens, and have been a teaching artist to conduct acting and playwriting classes in schools. I am a firm believer in working monologues, and discussing character development. A class with me will include learning vocal and acting warm up skills, monologue work, character development, and diving into intention and tactics of that character. Scenes and monologues will be broken down into beats and shifts in character thought. I want to provide my students with the tools to deliver a stellar monologue in an audition. If a student is in a show, we will dive into script analysis so that they can fully understand their character arc and provide a consistent and wonderful performance every show. I have a love for theatre and want to share my knowledge and love of the arts with my students!
