Hello, my name is Sheryl and I knew that I would become a teacher since the age of 12. I have been retired for two years after a successful career from the School District of Philadelphia. I have also been tutoring for the past seven years. I continue to tutor because my passion is still teaching and helping students achieve academically. My demeanor is one of patience and I am able to break down learning to the bare components when needed. It is important to me that individuals develop self confidence and feel good about their achievements. In addition to direct instruction, I understand the importance of using various mediums that can assist in the learning process. My one goal is to help my students reach success. I look forward to experiencing an exciting journey of learning with my next client.
