Film Acting with Sarah S.

Sarah Sommers is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she studied Film Production. During her time there, she was selected as one of 8 to attend the BBC Director's program in London, where she gained valuable insights in directing and live set experience. Her background as child actor landed her numerous roles, including stints on iCarly, and the feature film Hit List. Sarah now works as a writer/director in the entertainment industry in multiple capacities. In 2017, Sarah began coaching, using her talents to help aspiring actors achieve their goals and get booked. Having worked on both sides of the industry, she is uniquely able to understand actors and guide them in the right direction to book the role. Working with Sarah provides greater depth of scene study, script breakdown, character analysis and character embodiment, while guiding the actor with industry parameters in mind. When she’s not staring at a computer screen or on set, Sarah can be found traversing the globe, or spending hours trying to master an origami unicorn. She lives in Los Angeles with her dog Bosch, who would like everyone to know he’s very cute and enjoys ear scratches.
