    About Sara M.

I am the founder and producing Artistic & Executive Director of a top professional union theater company, and I have been teaching acting since 1999 in classes, and one-on-one for the past ten years. Additionally, I have made a living as a working professional union actor (SAG, AFTRA, Actors' Equity) for the past 20 years across many mediums: stage, film, TV, web series, commercials, and voice over. Because I am also an accomplished producer (and a stage director), I know from both sides of the table what it takes to give an excellent audition (I watch hundreds each year, and hire dozens of actors), but to craft a masterful performance and production. I am also an accomplished writer, and I spent three years as a tutor with the Center for Writing at the University of Minnesota, where I taught undergraduates, graduate students, and PhD candidates. I will help students clarify their writing at all points in the writing process. I look forward to meeting you and working with you!
