Speech with Sandra T.

I am a professional actress with a BFA from The University of the Arts in Phila. I have been teaching and coaching at The Actors Center of Phila since 2004. I have coached children on film sets, notably, Morgan Turner on the set Of HBO's Mildred Pierce as well as Catherine Chan on the set of " Safe". I am presently coaching children and adults for film and TV auditioning with management companies in NYC, West Reading, PA and Philadelphia. I also teach general American speech as well as many American and foreign accents. In 2009 I began The Outside the Box theatre company with my advanced teen class, producing plays that tackle many teen issues such as suicide, drug use and bullying. My approach is to teach the actor not a method. I have studied Meisner, Stanislovsky, Adler etc. I teach what will best serve the actor. I approach acting from a very physical as well as personal place. I'm not always easy but I am fun and effective, if not a bit crazy.
