Free Your Voice with an experienced Voice Acting Coach

Hello! I’m Rose K. and I’m so excited to work with you! The human voice is an incredible thing! In lessons I'll teach you how to create a character with just your voice. We will focus on how the voice is connected to the body. We will cover pitch, timbre, volume, breath connection and healthy vocal production. I'll teach you about specific life choices that will keep your vocal instrument strong and ready to create. Voice acting is so fun! You can choose to incorporate that vocal prowess into film and stage acting, or stay unseen letting just your voice speak. We will also cover basic recording microphone use. There are so many opportunities for voice actors! I look forward to meeting you!

Hello! I’m Rose K. and I’m so excited to work with you! Providing a safe place to play with the material you are working with is very important to me - be it audition preparation, a monologue, song, play, screenplay or a speech you are preparing to give. I’ll work to have you confidently prepared in body, voice, and mind! I attended the Royal Irish Academy of Music, studying under Irish Opera star Suzanne Murphy. It was there that I sang with Alex Sharpe of Celtic Women. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies with an emphasis in performance from Brigham Young University - Idaho. After performing in a festival while living in NYC, I was selected for the privilege of being mentored by Broadway conductor Sande Campbell and the late Andrew Zerman–who was the original casting director of Cats, Les Miserables, and Phantom of the Opera. After receiving multiple national awards for musical theatre performance at the college level I received a Master of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. While at BoCo, I was trained in masterclasses with Broadway star Sutton Foster, Viewpoints director Anne Bogart, and Musical Pop/Rock trainer Sheri Sanders. I studied with industry regulars Cathy Rand, Igor Golyak, Steven Ladd Jones, Larry Sousa, and Laura Marie Duncan. I perform professionally all over the world and have also taught acting and musical theatre classes in the public high school setting. I look forward to meeting you!

This was my first lesson with Rose and she was informative and encouraging. She seems to know how to break down techniques and concepts to a level I can understand and learn from. Her energy is very positive and I enjoyed my time with her.
