About Raquel G.
Ever since I started teaching almost 8 years ago, I have loved it! I love to learn myself, which is why I never get bored! I believe that as a geography teacher, it is important I travel as well, this way I can bring back real life resources to my students. I've been to Iceland with the National Council of Geography Education, with the purpose of bringing back my own field notes to share with my students. I've also been to Mexico and many U.S. states! My goal is to help students make connections within our globalized world! I believe a happy teacher creates happy students!
