Hello! I have been teaching math in both the classroom and virtually for over 10 years. I love math and the joy I get out of teaching is helping a struggling student gain confidence and success with a concept they were struggling with. I do not believe in making a student complete large assignments to prove they know something. I have a 1:1 approach, I will explain a concept to you and then we will work through a few problems until you show mastery. If you would like additional examples or more review I am very happy to offer them. My approach is all about your success. I will also work to offer real life examples. I strongly believe that math concepts are learned when a student can see how they apply to real life. In my years teaching, I have come to love the virtual environment. I use an online whiteboard to demonstrate how to complete problems and I can also offer additional materials for you to work on between tutoring sessions if necessary. I think you will find working online gives you a chance to get your questions answered and for us to use our time together fully.
