My name is Patrick; it's so nice to meet you! When I am not working, I love to watch old movies, go to comedy shows, and babysit my godchildren (they are the cutest kids ever). I have loved helping peoplease learn English for quite a while; as a teenager, I worked at a restaurant with many friends from El Salvador who needed help getting comfortable with the basics of English. They, in turn, helped me learn Spanish, a language I had always wanted to know. Once we could understand each other, I found that I had been missing so many possible frendships, simply because of a language barrier! I studied film in college (and helped release two silent films from the Library of Congress!), and currently work in real estate management. When I moved to Oklahoma around 2013, I helped raise my godchildren nearly from the time they were born. I helped teach them English (and a little bit of sign language and Spanish), showed them the joy of reading and learning, and had an all around wonderful experience. My greatest pleasure is helping people in whatever way I can; if you are having trouble with English, I would love nothing more than to help you remove that barrier and see what the world has to offer you once you know this essential world language.
