My name is Paolo S. and I am a PhD student at the University of Virginia. Since high school, I would often tutor friends in chemistry. Initially, it was a hobby that helped me review material, but I later on found out that tutoring and teaching is a source of inspiration for me. Specifically, I love helping students understand complex concepts and introducing them to the beauty, complexity, and nuance that make up Chemistry. I have been tutoring in chemistry and sciences since I was 16. I have tutored middle school and high school students, but my main experience lies with university students. I am teaching undergraduate courses at my current institution, and have a total of 4 years of university level teaching experience in my subject. I was born and raised in Luino, Italy, a very picturesque town on Lake Maggiore. I love reading and playing sports, especially basketball.
