About Molly R.

Hello! My name is Molly and I'm a freelance ballet dancer based in NYC. Teaching is a huge passion of mine, and I'm looking for motivated and energized students! I have a vast knowledge of the curricula of multiple techniques, mainly Vaganova and Balanchine, and I tailor my teaching style to meet your needs. I have high expectations for my students, but I also believe that the well-being of the dancer comes first. I have B.A. in Dance Pedagogy from Butler University, which gave me an invaluable teaching education. I took many teaching classes, including Ballet Teaching Analysis, Modern Dance Teaching Analysis, Human Anatomy and Physiology, and Childhood Development. I graduated cum laude in 2020. I have an extensive background in teaching all ages, from as young as 18 months in Mommy-and-Me style classes, to students in their 70s.
