    About Michael M.

Do you like to simplify things in your life so that you can focus on what you really enjoy and care about? ...if your answer is yes then we are thinking the same thing because I do too:) It’s exciting when I see someone enjoy what they are learning and I can help them simplify it so that at the end of the day they can know they did a good job and go do what they really enjoy. If you’re like me that might just be more math and science or studying the stars but if not, that’s totally ok, I’ll help you get there one way or the other. ☺Looking forward to making math stress free for you! When I'm not working, learning other new things, or doing something math, science, or computers you'll find me doing things like jet skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, swimming, hiking, and trail running. In college I got to help work on the mathematical physics for faster computers using machine learning. If you are so inclined you can read about it in a book called "Quantum Inspired Computational Intelligence: Research and Applications". Our team wrote chapter one which is visible in the Google Books preview or just google our chapter title: "Quantum neural computation of entanglement is robust to noise and decoherence". In graduate school we got to take some abstract algebra (something you get to when you are older in your math life:)) and apply it to music theory. We were trying to predict which musical scales actually sound good. As a graduate teaching assistant in graduate school, as I was working on my masters in mathematics, I had the chance to help a lot of early college students make the transition from high school to college math. I got to teach two of my own classes and help make math accessible and understandable to lots of students even if it wasn't their major. I have also been able to help students through online classes by building the curriculum for and teaching computer programming and computer science, web design, and electronics all online. Since 2011 I have had the chance to do actual tutoring as well in both math and physics. I have been able to work with elementary school students all the way through advanced college mathematics and physics. No matter what your learning goals are or if you like math or absolutely hate it I'd love to help simplify it so we can make it work for you instead of you working for it!:) Send me a quick message and ask me anything you like and we can even try a session to see if we're a good team.
