My name is Megan and I am a current 4th year student at the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. I am originally from Cupertino, California, and did my Bachelor's degree at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and have a degree in Animal Science. Since I was a child, I have always loved science and math and have wanted to be a veterinarian since I was 5 years old. Throughout my schooling, I also developed a love of writing and have enjoyed taking writing and literature classes throughout my studies.
In college, I started tutoring students at a high risk intervention program aged 13-18 years old in subjects ranging from Biology and Math to Writing and college application preparation. I also began working as a peer tutor for Student Success Services at my university. Throughout this time, I found myself also gaining experience in the veterinary field, laboratory setting, and also worked at Marian Regional Medical Center as a medical scribe.
I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals and if you're just starting your journey and need help figuring out where your going, or are planning to apply to veterinary or medical school during this application cycle, I want to give you the tools you need to be successful. If you have more questions regarding my background and how I can help you please always feel free to reach out!
Taught students aged 8-15 in courses including Intro to Veterinary Medicine, Marine Biology, and General Biology.
