I am a third-year astronomy and physics undergraduate student at the University of Florida with over two full years of freelance and hired tutoring experience and previous years of volunteer tutor experience. I was employed with the University Athletic Association as a physics tutor to student-athletes for a year. I also worked as a university-employed tutor to provide teaching assistance to college algebra courses. In high school I participated in the IB Program and took AP classes as well, so I know how the work load can get for today's students, but I also know how to help! My students always show marked improvement in grades after only a couple weeks with my help! I go out of my way to learn a student's strengths - I have no problem making a fool out of myself by singing a song if that's what helps the learning process. Feel free to ask me more about my experience or philosophy!
