Summer Pre-Law LSAT Training

Yale LSAT Tutor w/International & Accommodations Expertise

I am a graduate of Yale-NUS College in Singapore and a Yale University alum, and I received a full scholarship to take residency at Harvard Law School and prepare for the LSAT. With my educational background in psychology and pre-law, I've dedicated the last 8 years of my life to research law school admissions and LSAT study strategies. I've been teaching students ranging from undergrad levels to post-grad, both in a classroom and one-on-one for 7 years, but my greatest joys come from working with each student independently to target our weaknesses together and come up with new strategies to get a perfect score. Finally, I want to offer more than just LSAT tutoring — I mean, crushing the logic games, analyzing logical reasoning, and flying by in reading are certainly helpful, but I'm here to support students who need MORE than just that. I serve niche needs including: - Advising for international students - Navigating learning accommodations for ADHD and other needs - Securing multiple pre-law scholarships - Law school applications

    About May W.

Hello! My name is May, and I am a graduate of Yale-NUS College in Singapore and a Yale University alum. I received my LSAT training while taking residency at Harvard Law with a summer scholarship. I've personally experienced hitting a wall with my scores, and working around that wall, going from scoring 152 on my practice LSATs to 175's — but this was a yearlong process where I self-studied. For several months, I was stuck in the low 150's until I started receiving private tutoring, and was matched with a tutor who was able to help me target weak points and habits I didn't even realize were time vampires on the test! As a psychology researcher, my teaching method focuses on recognizing where your strengths lie and grasping a firm foundation on your weaknesses. We'll begin by doing a diagnostic LSAT, pinpointing areas to work on, and set a weekly schedule to connect and review the LSAT practice tests with. We'll diagnose the trouble spots, come up with strategies for practice, and build the stamina, focus, and acuity it takes to crush the LSAT together! Finally, I want to offer more than just LSAT tutoring — I mean, crushing the logic games, analyzing logical reasoning, and flying by in reading are certainly helpful, but I'm here to support students who need MORE than just that. I serve niche needs including: - Advising for international students - Navigating learning accommodations for ADHD and other needs - Securing multiple pre-law scholarships - Law school applications This is all part of an introspective journey towards self-improvement, so let's take the first step together!
