I earned an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Business in 2010, and I have taught and tutored students for the GMAT for 20 years. I love it! I can provide you with not only thorough GMAT preparation, but also plenty of advice on business school admissions, and I'm more than happy to review and edit your business school admissions essays at no charge.
About Matt D.

Hello! I have tutored students for the GMAT for 20 years, and I love helping people maximize their scores and gain admittance to their first-choice business school. I myself scored a 760 on the GMAT before attending Kellogg Business School at Northwestern University. Standardized tests are sort of my thing... I even took the GRE years earlier before I was admitted to a master's degree program at Stanford University. I specialize in the quantitative section of the test, although I can offer a number of free tips on the verbal section of the test, as well. If you'd like to explore my tutoring services, I'm happy to begin with a free, 30-minute session. We'll discuss your background, your goals, and then plan a strategy for you to maximize your GMAT score. If you'd like to continue working with me, my lessons are two hours long, for a total price of $150 per lesson. The bulk of your GMAT prep strategy should include the following: 1. In order to maximize your score on the GMAT, you should put as much time into GMAT prep as you would put into a one-semester college course, i.e. 8-10 hours a week for 15 weeks. 2. Over the course of that 15 weeks, you should plan to read all 36 chapters of "GMAT All the Quant: The definitive guide to the quant section of the GMAT," a book published by Manhattan Prep. It is, by leaps and bounds, the best GMAT prep book on the market. 3. While that book is the best instructional book on the market, the best practice questions on the market are found in the "GMAT Official Guide 2022" and the "GMAT Official Guide Quantitative Review 2022," both published by the creators of the GMAT itself. During our lessons, you and I will review hundreds of those practice questions together. 4. Between now and the time you sit for the GMAT, you should plan to take all six official practice tests that can be found on the official GMAT website (mba.com) It's best to take the first official practice test after our very first session so that you can begin your studies with a baseline score. Once again, I'm more than happy to begin with a free, 30-minute session. I look forward to working with you!
