Chemistry with Maria P.

Hi! I'm Maria Psarakis! I'm currently a student and John Jay Scholar at Columbia University in the City of New York! I've been a tutor for general chemistry and general biology for a few years now, and in addition to this, I've been a TA for General Chemistry as well. I've also been a researcher on a bioinformatics research team involved in the discovery of a new species of bacteria. I absolutely LOVE science (especially chemistry) and it just breaks my heart when I see super smart and capable students drop the course because they feel they can't understand the material, when in reality, they just don't have the right teacher! Fun Facts: I'm also a rock climber and mountaineer, and I absolutely love the outdoors! I speak three languages, and I love baking!!
