Biology with Mara G.

I am an Academic Advisor and Study Planning Specialist. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology, a Masters in Public Health- Epidemiology; and a I got my second Masters in Digital Marketing in Barcelona, Spain. My passions are Spanish and Science. I work with a wide range of students, from elementary school children to PhD candidates and my teaching approach is highly personalized to each student's unique learning style and personal goals. With Spanish, I like to focus heavily on conversation while reinforcing grammar and vocabulary concepts along the way. I am C2 Certified by the Instituto de Cervantes in Spanish and I have experience teaching students from as young as 5 years old all the way to 80 years old. I also give professional Spanish classes (business, medical, entertainment, etc.) Biology, and science in general, is another great passion of mine. I have 7 years of experience teaching students of all levels and backgrounds. I was a Biology Lab Instructor at my university for 2 years, where I refined my lecturing and practical skills. My approach to teaching Biology is breaking a large, complex topic down to small, digestible pieces.
