The one unique thing that makes me stand out from most tutors is my experience growing up, I have four younger siblings, two with learning disabilities. These four kids have meant the world to me and I made it my goal from a young age to become an expert at math and teaching so that I could help them learn and get them through school. In addition, after I started college I volunteered as a "Peer tutor", helping my peers through classes that I excelled in. During this time, I also volunteered in a program called FIRST Lego Robotics, where I mentored and taught elementary kids how to write computer programs for robotics in a team competition, which was always exciting. Recently, I have been hired as a private part time Pre-calculus tutor for high school students, which has been a great and challenging experience. Furthermore, I have excellent references, a medical professionals first aid and CPR license, and I have been trained as a special needs caregiver.
