About Lisa W.
Hi! I’ve been teaching elementary school for 15 years! I have a great deal of experience teaching reading, phonics, grammar, writing, math and science to students from kindergarten through 4th grade. I’ve been teaching struggling learners/diverse learners, who are also ELL, for the past 7 years and have been teaching online for the past 9 months. I have my BA in elementary education, MA in Curriculum and Instruction, and an M.Ed in Educational Leadership.
I work hard to identify and tailor instruction to each student’s needs and create lessons that are fun and engaging. I get to know my students on a personal level to build trusting relationships as well as incorporate students’ interests into lessons. I’m flexible, honest, and hard-working.
I’m happy to answer any questions you may have! I can’t wait to meet you.
