I do a little bit of an icebreaker at the beginning of every session. Secondly, I find a way to understand the learning style of the student and implementing that throughout the session. I even give little hints and tricks, or break down the math problem into smaller, easier bits. Everything will be explained to the fullest of my ability. About Kayla B.
I am an upcoming Social Work Major at Austin Peay State University. I currently tutor Kindergarten through 5th grade students with a company called Varsity Tutors and I enjoy what I do!! I get to help students with their path to academic success and also get to receive feedback on my craft.
I am qualified to tutor elementary students as I have gone above and beyond during my early years of school alongside countless spelling bee and UIL competitions. Not only that, I was on the Dean's List for Fall of 2023. Thankfully, I'm in the process of being fingerprinted to aid a helping hand to at-risk students through Varsity Tutors.
