English Literature with Kaykay K.

I am a seasoned English teacher and also work in a very large bank writing up policies! Reading and writing are my passion and literature to me has no boundaries, so long as it is in English! After graduating from the University of Kolkata in India, I had the opportunity to teach grades 2 through 12 at a private school in India for a few years, after which I got married and immigrated to the USA. I raised two wonderful children, taught them English and instilled in them my passion for the language and they used this resource to study and inculcate the enthusiasm for English too! They went on to be good scholars at UC Berkeley and today are contributing and confident professionals in their communities! Now I would like to work with students and go on a great journey with discovering and re discovering English literature all over again! My favorite authors are Charles Dickens, Bernard Shaw, Sheridan, Shakespeare (of course!), EM Forster, Gallsworthy, Keats, Shelly, and so many more who have been stalwarts and torch bearers to light up our lives in literature and the arts!
