Hi, there! My name is Katherine Weatherford and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2016 and have loved helping my students grow and discover the joys of acting and singing. I went to New School Univeristy and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and earned a BFA in Musical Theater in 2008. My teaching style is encouraging, positive, and energetic. I truly love what I do, and can't wait to share it with you. I work with all levels- from beginners to those working towards a career in theater. Whatever your personal goals may be, I look forward to helping you reach them! I am a professional actor, singer and dancer who has been working in the business for over 15 years I am a proud member of Actors Equity Association, the union for professional actors and stage managers. I am also the Co-Artistic Director of a small professional theater company in the Hudson Valley. As a working theater producer, I often sit on the casting side of the table during auditions, and can give you insider information on how to best nail an audition!
