Math with Kara C.

I am a current grad student at LSU studying saxophone performance. Although I am pursuing music, I have a passion for teaching not only the saxophone, but math as well. Besides saxophone, I love teaching math. I started peer-tutoring in high school and have been teaching students privately for 7 years now. I love to watch how students think and help them solve problems in a way that will help them the most. I enjoy looking at problems from different angles to better understand the concept and pass that on to my students efficiently. I started playing saxophone 12 years ago and fell in love with classical saxophone. I like to help my students with tone production and help them succeed in playing challenging music that they want to play.
