I am a certified science teacher and I have taught in schools since 2012. Before becoming a certified teacher I worked as an Educator in several different zoos and aquariums. Though I can teach all areas of science my two favorites are Biology and environmental Science. In the classroom I like to take a more laid back approach to teaching. I believe that training your brain to think logically and think about how the world is connected are the most important parts of academics. I also believe that students learn best when they feel like they have a connection to who is teaching them and they feel supported. This is also something that is very important to me. I have many years of experience working with students of all ages and abilities including students for whom English is not their native language and special needs students. I work hard to make sure that my lessons are presented in a way that each person can understand them. I know that everyone learns differently and I keep this in mind when I am planning my lesson for you. If you have any questions I would be more than happy to answer them for you, just let me know!
